Yup, we all know the big dude from the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe. He's the cute lion that's ruler of Narnia and who has that funky voice (if anyone knows who does his voice, please tell me). He's the good guy, always there to rescue those who need it. If you ask me, he's the best computer-generated lion I have seen (saying that I haven't seen any but him yet). But take a closer look at him: what does he do throughout the story? He is introduced by the beavers as this awesome dude who's gonna save the day along with them. He appears from a tent when they get to a camp and help find Edmund and forgives and helps him and all. Then he goes and sacrifices himself so that Edmund may live and the prophecy may go on. He is then reborn as the fighting is going on. He uses his breath (his breath, may I add) to bring the frozen stone peoples back to life. (And yes, you know what I mean by peoples.) They win, and Mr. Lion goes off somewhere, only to return sometime again, unexpectedly.
Does that sound familiar to you, or what? I mean, if your not Christian, then I guess it wouldn't, but if you are and you don't recognize then you are a very big dope. A big, thick dope. Aslan is, like, Jesus. This is the story of Jesus:
He omes to earth to save the people. He heals and forgives people left and right, being ever so nice along the way. He is known as the healer, the redeemer, the alpha-omega, the everything-but-the-kitchen-sink-except-he-is-the-kitchen-sink. He then sacrifices himself so that we may live, but is lifted up and comes back to life because he is awesome like that and the dark magic (or God's power, in this case) saves him. Daang. He goes back to heaven, only to return at the end of the world.
Similar, eh?
Hey, it's up to you to make the connection. I won't explain any further. Again, if you don't see the connection, I expect you to be of another religion.
Maybe the dude who wrote the book meant to do this... I don't know. But whatever happened, I like it!!!!!!! It's way cool.

Vacation!!!!!!!

As some of you know, I was just on vacation over Memorial Day, and I will give you a short synopsis right now and give you full detail tomarrow:
Thursday: went to school like a normal day, got picked up at 12:40 pm, and took a car ride that was supposed to take 5 1/2 hours but took 9 1/2 (traffic and Delaney throwing up). Got to Hampton Inn, went to sleep.
Friday: woke up and had yummy continental breakfast, met up with friend (Julia) from Michigan, went to Abbey Road by the River (Beatlefest), swam, and went to sleep.
Saturday: continental breakfast, went to largest open archaeologist site in the US, Beatlefest until 6, swimming, sleep.
Sunday: Continental breakfast, went to go see horse races at Churchill Downs, Beatlefest until 6, and then we had to leave. WAHHHHH! We got home at 11:30 pm while it was absolutley pouring (it sounded like hail) and slept.
There's my adventure!!!

Alice in Wonderland
I hate to do online advertising, but oh well. If you live in Lake County, come see the local CYT show, Alice in Wonderland. We are the first ones ever to actually perform this, and Disney is considering buying it and making it a Broadway show! Only $12 for adults, $9 for kids and seniors (over 62). You will love it!

I Hate Being Sick!
I hate being sick you never have anything to do. I had to watch TV and play on Webkinz. Yup, as exiting as it sounds, I was bored as a butt. Do you like that? It's a new expression I made up while I was bored. Okay, so a few good things can come from boredom, I guess. I still hate being sick though. You feel terrible the whole time. Kids always say it's fun, getting a day off school and all, but the truth is you're bored as a butt and you have to make up all the work the next day anyway. Therefore, it's not fun. Period.
